BACtrack Mobile Breathalyzer Reviewed on Droid Horizon
Droid Horizon posted a review of the BACtrack Mobile Breathalyzer recently, highlighting some its most effective applications and use scenarios.
"This tiny, lightweight breathalyzer pairs with your smartphone, gives you your current blood alcohol content (BAC), and allows you to chart your drinking habits," he writes. "Having this device could be the one thing to stop the guy who is 'fine to drive.'"
After reviewing some of the other ways the breathalyzer could come in handy, the reviewer zeroes in on what makes it such a great piece of modern technology.
"What makes this device so cool is what’s inside. The BACtrack Mobile Breathalyzer uses an Xtend™ Fuel Cell Sensor, the same used by police or hospitals. This is a professional device, in a consumer market."
He also points out how easy it is to use:
"You wont need any medical degrees to use this device either. Simply download the app, open it, then turn on the device. The app then pairs with the device, and is ready to go."
In summary, he writes, BACtrack Mobile is both an informative and inspiring tech device with both social and health applications.
"It might seem random but this device is actually a lot of fun. People I know will want to test it--and will subsequently be surprised how long they have to wait to sober up. It's also a great conversation piece... This device might set you back $150, but it is worth it for the tech you get."
