The Washington Post recently covered the BACtrack Consumption Report, making some astute comments on the content and meaning of the insights drawn in this season's update. 

"After anonymizing and compiling data from those probably-above-average-drinkers, the company released a report with a perhaps-surprising finding: People drink more in the winter."

The reporter then took a look at how often "alcohol being a factor" in news reports and finds the phrase has been used more and more commonly in recent years. 

Additionally, he finds there are most news stories about "alcohol being a factor" in publications during summer months. 

It's an interesting challenge to the data being put forth in our Consumption Report, and certainly calls for further debate.
